    Lynchburg is the venue for the Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue, which is held at the Jack Daniel’s distillery every October.This event, in which hundreds of teams compete in a barbecue cook-off, will have been running for 21 years in 2009.

    The first prize includes: two return flights to Tennessee; five nights’ accommodation in a 4-star hotel; a set meal at Miss Mary Bobo’s Boarding House in Lynchburg, which is famous for its home-cooked meals; a tour of the Jack Daniel’s Distillery, the oldest registered distillery in the USA; and tickets for the Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue, which will be held in Lynchburg on the 24th - 25th of October, 2009.

    You can enter the competition via the delicious.Magazine website. Simply register with the site, answer the simple question and complete the online form. You must be over 21 years of age in order to enter the competition and entries must be received by 31 July 2009.
