The prize includes two return flights from London Heathrow to Quito (via Miami) with American Airlines, accommodation and meals. The itinerary includes a visit to Quito (Ecuador’s capital city), a trip to the Otavalo Indian Market, a day in Cotopaxi National Park and four days in the Galapagos Islands.

You will need to pay for some items yourself, including travel insurance, beverages, some meals, international airport departure tax at Quito airport and entrance to the Galapagos National Park.

You can enter the competition via the Natural History Museum’s website and entries must be received by 30 April 2009. The holiday must be taken by 28 February 2010.
